USTA Northern is seeking applications from volunteers for its Councils and Committees for 2009-10. Applications for potential Council and Committee members are due October 1, 2008. Terms for Councils and Committees are two years.

USTA Northern Councils and Committees each serve different areas of the organization and have specific goals. The USTA Northern Councils and Committees are as follows:
1. Adult Council: Collegiate Committee, Leagues Committee, Leagues Grievance Committee, Tournament Play Committee, Twin Cities Leagues Committee
2. Community Development Council: Awards Committee, CTA/NJTL Committee, Grants and Scholarships Committee, Public Facility Assistance Committee
3. Diversity Council
4. Junior Council: Junior Team Tennis Committee, Player Development Committee
5. Membership Council
6. Officials Council: Tournaments and Assignments Committee, Training and Recruitment Committee
Only the Diversity and Membership Councils are open to the application process, while all Committees under each council are open to the application process.
