Advocacy Network

COLLEGE TENNIS ADVOCACY

Over 200 varsity tennis programs have been dropped, most within the past two decades. In the interest of protecting college varsity tennis programs from being eliminated, the ITA and the USTA Collegiate Committee are working with the 17 USTA sections to develop an Advocacy Network for varsity collegiate tennis. A College Tennis Advocate is an individual who is an influential member of the local community and who is committed to supporting and promoting college varsity tennis. Please register at

www.itatennis.com You will be notified if a program is threatened and be asked to take action to support the program by sending an email, writing a letter or attending a meeting. This information will be kept confidential.
