Steve Wilkinson Honored With Iowa Lifetime Achievement Award

Former Gustavus Adophus men's tennis coach and USTA Northern Hall of Famer Steve Wilkinson received the University of Iowa's Varsity Club Lifetime Achievement Award at a banquet on Friday, Sept. 14, in Iowa City, Iowa. Donkena and Smith-Dennis Finish Second At NCAAs


Rochester's Amrik Donkena and Savage's Mya Smith-Dennis of Gustavus Adolphus earned finalist honors at the 2012 NCAA Division III Doubles Championships in Cary, N.C. The Gusties, who were seeded No. 1 in the tournament, lost to Luis Rattenhuber and Austin Chafetz of Amherst 6-4, 5-7, 3-6 in the championship match. Read More

University of North Dakota President Dr. Robert Kelley and Athletics Director Brian Faison announced today that the University of North Dakota has accepted an invitation to join the Big Sky Conference beginning with the 2012-13 academic year. David Wheaton To Be Inducted Into College Tennis Hall of Fame

The Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced today that the 2012 inductees for the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Men's Collegiate Tennis Hall of Fame have been selected. The 2012 class consists of six inductees: Coaches - Chuck Kriese, Paul Scarpa, and Ron Smarr; Players - Patrick Du Pré and Tonka Bay's David Wheaton; and Contributor - Jon Vegosen. The 2012 honorees will be inducted at the 2012 ITA Men's Collegiate Hall of Fame Enshrinement Banquet, which will be held on May 23 during the NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Tennis Championships at the University of Georgia in Athens, Ga.
