Wheaton and Martin won their first-round match defeating
Todd Woodbridge and
Mark Woodforde of Australia 7-6, 6-3. On Wednesday, the duo played on Center Court, losing to
Guy Forget and
Cedric Pioline of France 6-3, 6-4. Wheaton and Martin then lost to eventual champions
Jacco Eltingh and
Paul Haarhuis of The Netherlands 6-4, 6-0 on Saturday.
