A fundraiser for the daughter of USTA Northern members and former Section employees Karl and Kady Monson is scheduled for November 7 at the Rochester Athletic Club in Rochester, Minn. Karl and Kady's newest twin daughter, Bethany, was born with a heart defect in which she will have to have numerous surgeries over the years to correct the problem.

A "Benefit for Bethany" is Saturday, November 7 from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Rochester Athletic Club. The event is free and open to the public. The Neighborhood - a fun indoor play land for kids and adults - and the tennis courts are accessible to all attendees. No registration is required.
During the evening, there will be a silent auction / social hour with appetizers and refreshments from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m., a Tennis Mixer for adults and juniors from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. The Silent Auction will close at 8:30 pm.
The money will be put into a special account that will help Bethany with her medical expenses for now and years to come. Direct donations can be made to Eastwood Bank NW by calling (507) 285-3318.
