USTA Northern Hiring A Tennis Service Representative For South Dakota

USTA Northern, located in Bloomington, Minn., is conducting a search for a Tennis Service Representative (TSR) to assist the Section in its mission to promote and develop the growth of tennis with specific responsibilities to the state of South Dakota and a number of border counties in Minnesota. This position must be able to travel, work weekends and live in Sioux Falls, S.D. or surrounding area. The TSR will establish strong relationships with the people who make up the local tennis delivery system for tennis, including facilities, organizations, professionals, coaches and volunteers. This position must have general knowledge of all USTA and USTA Northern programs, while possessing a variety of skills to achieve the strategic goals and core values of the section.

Qualifications of this position include but are not limited to:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  2. Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  3. Computer experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and Power Point.
  4. Excellent presentation skills.
  5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  6. Highly motivated self-starter, enthusiastic personality with desire to promote and grow tennis.
  7. Ability to work well with others.
  8. Tennis background required. Must be USPTA or PTR certified professional (or working towards certification).
